Welcome to Wayfinder Kennel
Alaska Dog Sledding Tours and Mushing Excursions
Experience the beauty of Alaska on a dog sledding tour led by an Iditarod dog musher. Each of our all-inclusive tours starts and ends at our log home in Willow, Alaska, where you’ll catch stunning views of the Denali mountains and be treated to fresh, homemade cookies. During your adventure, you’ll learn the basics of mushing, get plenty of one-on-one time with our friendly team of Iditarod racing Alaskan huskies, and hopefully get to see the Northern Lights.

Meet Your Hosts
Linwood & Kathi Fiedler
Linwood Fiedler is a 25-time Iditarod race finisher placing in the top ten multiple times. His most coveted award, however, is the Humanitarian Award for the best cared for team. Linwood has over forty years of experience mushing and has enjoyed living in Alaska with his family since 1990. He and his wife Kathi live and breathe dog sledding in Alaska, and they started Wayfinder Kennel to share the passion and love they have for their dogs and the sport with others.
